Victoria Park Community Centre (VPCC) is your friendly and welcoming local community centre – situated alongside the green expanse of John MacMillan Park. Established in 1993, we have been a hub of the community ever since.

We are a community-based, grassroots, not-for-profit organisation. We welcome the rich diversity of the Victoria Park community and encourage and facilitate people to come together for friendship, learning, support and fun.

Our centre is governed by a Voluntary Board of Management, drawn from the local community and from representatives of our user groups. We have two part-time office staff, who work closely with the Board to stay in touch with our community and adapt to its changing needs.

Our strategic plan was updated in late 2017 and reflects VPCC’s core objectives: to provide effective facilities and services to promote, support and enhance the quality of life and positive development of our community.

VPCC is partnered with Act-Belong-Commit and funded by the State Government through the Department of Communities. This funding allows us to support our community by providing affordable services, activities and programs. The balance of our income is generated through affordable hiring out of the premises and by sound financial management.
